Maa Siddhidatri 9th Form Of Goddess Durga
The Ninth and the Maha Navami tithi of Navratri is of Goddess Siddhidhatri. She has four arms sitting on a lotus, holding a chakra-gada-sankh-kamal in her hands. Goddess Siddhidatri signifies perfection in life means she gives all accomplishment (Siddhis) to her devotees. Even Lord Shiva also got Siddhis by her. Maa Siddhidatri is the ninth and final form of the goddess Durga in Sanatan mythology, celebrated during the festival of Navratri. She is revered as the bestower of supernatural powers and the fulfiller of all desires, as the name “Siddhi” means accomplishments or supernatural powers, and “Datri” means the giver. This form of the goddess is often depicted sitting on a lotus flower or riding on a lion, holding various weapons and symbolic items.
Lord Shiva had become famous as Ardha-Narishwar when Maa Siddhidatri came out from his left half.
